Synergies in Missions
Believe it or not, One Village Group is not the only ministry out there pushing to help missionaries to embrace the digital age we live in.
Last Monday, we traveled to Upland, IN to meet with Dave Hines, Director of the Roth Center for Missions Computing, at Taylor University to discuss what the future of mission's communications will look like, and to discuss possible synergies between One Village Group and Taylor University.
What the Bible calls "...iron sharpening iron..." (Prov. 27:17)

Take Aways From Our Meeting:
- Dave's a really smart guy!
- One Village Group is providing a valuable service to missionaries
- We all need to push harder and faster to launch more and more missionaries into the digital world
- The future of mission's communications will be even more digitally interactive in the next 5-10 years
Synergies With the Roth Center
The Roth Center for Missions Computing sponsors summer interns to work with mission organizations. At One Village Group, we are currently in the process of applying to host one of these interns.
Not the type of intern that we need to train, but interns with computer programming and modeling experience who are ready to dig in and problem solve.
Goal of Intern at OVG
We need help redesigning our current apps to be even more user friendly and mission specific.
It sounds simple, but it is NOT!
The more user friendly and mission specific we can make our apps, the more missionaries will feel comfortable adopting and engaging our apps. This will, in turn, lead to more frequent and compelling communications with their supporters.
Your Part
Please pray for our application process to go smoothly and for God to send us an intern that is capable and enthusiastic!
Also pray that God gives us the wisdom in how we can bless this young person in return.
Thanks to You
And as always, we thank you for your continued support, prayers and encouragement.
Thank you,
