One of God's Greatest Gifts

Another year, another opportunity to remember one of God's greatest gifts to us all - our mothers.

Some of us are waiting for heaven to see our mothers again, others are waiting for their next furlough home from the mission field, and sadly, some do not know who/where their mothers are.

But no matter the situation, remember the plan God had when he created mothers and their roles. They were meant to be the perfect embodiment of Christ here on earth; the "fill-ins" to love us and take care of us until we are in HIS presence one day.

Just like all of us, our mother's might not have been the perfect embodiment of Christ everyday, but the effort they put into their roles made up for all their (our) human frailties.

THANK YOU GOD - for the mother you sent me and the way you showed how much you love me through her.
