Behind the Scenes: Your Support in Action

Behind the Scenes: Your Support in Action
Me at my desk helping missionaries around the world 🌎.

Ever wonder how you can spend a week (or year!) helping missionaries with tech?

Here’s a peek at how your support (through prayer, encouragement, or giving) showed up over the holiday break—quietly helping missionaries stay in the field, tell their stories better, and share more Jesus with more people.

🧑‍🍳 Pathways for Refugees
I met with a missionary creating two new programs for refugee women in the U.S.:

  • Thrive Kitchen – culinary training and dignified employment
  • Thrive Pathways –GED prep and life skills

We refined their messaging, mapped out how to engage new supporters, and reviewed logos.

Supporting Our Colombian Team
It's not just me on our team. We've got three designers on our team in Colombia. This week, I planned future design projects, and I reviewed inflation trends and pay benchmarks to start planning for 2026.

Here's our team with some friends 👇

Logos & Websites that Move the Mission
From designing logos for a new medical clinic to website tweaks for a missionary coordinating short-term missions trips around the world, these design projects help frontline workers show up for their supporters.

When their professionalism improves, their support base grows.

Missions Lab Prep Begins 🧪
We started recruiting for our first Missions Lab cohort launching in 2026—a new program designed to help missionaries build digital confidence and raise support with clarity

Mugs with a Mission
We packed and delivered over 70 mugs to supporters (maybe even you!). Each mug highlights the 7,500 unreached people groups still waiting to hear the gospel.
It’s not just coffee gear—it’s a daily reminder: the mission isn’t finished.

Testing New Software & AI Tools 🤖
And of course, I’m still testing tools like ChatGPT, Airtable, Canva, GiveButter, and Squarespace—so missionaries don’t waste time guessing what works.

Why It Matters

Most missionaries don’t have a comms team or tech support. They have One Village.

They're burning out on their own, but your support helps us show up with tools, training, and encouragement so they can stay in the field—and share more Jesus.

👉 Want to invest in this work? Partner with One Village Group or just hit reply—I’d love to hear from you.

With gratitude,

Helping missionaries stay visible—and stay in the field.

Synergies in Missions

Synergies in Missions

Believe it or not, One Village Group is not the only ministry out there pushing to help missionaries to embrace the digital age we live in. Last Monday, we traveled to Upland, IN to meet with Dave Hines, Director of the Roth Center for Missions Computing, at Taylor University to discuss what the future of mission's communications will look like, and to discuss possible synergies between One Village
